Egg Tarts
The thing that I love about egg tarts is the simple flavors and the textures that you experience when you bite into the tart. You get a delicate flaky, crispy chew followed by the rich and creamy filling. I like how the egg tart filling is almost like a custard and is not too sweet.
I think learning to create these at home is a game changer because you will be making some restaurant quality bites in the comfort of your own kitchen. Egg tarts have got to be one of my favorite dishes to finish dim sum with. It is subtly sweet and almost a palette cleanser for me from all the rich flavors.
