Firecracker Crab Fried Rice
This dish is dynamite! If you are a lover of fried rice and crab this is the perfect harmonious balance that accentuates the flavors of the crab and the heartiness of the rice. It is perfect to please a crowd and is a great twist on your traditional fried rice.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked jasmine rice
½ small onion
1 jalapeno
1 cup crab meat
6 minced garlic cloves
2 tbsp veggie oil
handful of green onion
handful of cilantro
handful of basil
salt and pepper to taste
SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tsp fish sauce
½ sugar or agave
Instructions
Prep all of your veggies + cook your jasmine rice.
To a hot wok, add oil and veggies (garlic, onion, chili) in that order. Sautee' until fragrant.
Toss in the rice. It is ok to use fresh rice. The key is to not overcrowd the pan.
Add your sauces and season the rice. Top with green onion, cilantro, basil, and crab.
I tend to put in the crab last because you do not want to break it apart. You want lump pieces. Serve and enjoy!
