This dessert is so good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. This fritter is the perfect balance of crispy, crunchy, with a slight subtle sweetness. I love eating these as a kid it certainly reminds me of home, but you can eat this and enjoy it any time of day. Its so good you’ll want to have more than just 1.

Ingredients

  • 6 Thai bananas

  • 1 cup rice flour

  • ¼ cup water or coconut milk

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • black sesame seeds

  • coconut shaving (optional)

  • favorite scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional)

  • fresh whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

Prep your banana by slicing it vertically and smushing them down until flat.

Make your batter by adding the flour and liquids together.

I like to fry my banana for about 5-10 minutes at 375F. Make sure to keep an eye on them so they do not burn while you are frying.

After the banana fry for 5-10 minutes until crispy golden brown they are ready to serve and Enjoy!
