Lemongrass BBQ Pork Skewers
This BBQ skewer will be such a crowd pleaser. I know skewers in my culture are usually whipped up during special occasions because they are a labor of love and take time. These skewers have herbaceous flavors and a balance of sweet and savory.
Ingredients
5 lbs Pork Butt
5 Garlic Cloves
1 Bunch Spring Onion (optional)
2 tbsp Chicken Base
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Pepper
1 ½ tbsp Sugar
½ cup Kreung (view kreung recipe here)
1 Pack NOH Char Siu Seasoning
1 pack of bamboo skewers
Instructions
Prep your pork butt by cutting them into thin slices.
Mince your garlic cloves and the spring onion.
Marinate your pork with all your seasonings and spices listed. Let it marinate for 30 minutes to an hour.
Skewer your pork and then BBQ for 10-15 mins and Enjoy!
