Lemongrass BBQ Beef Skewers សាច់គោ
Cambodian style beef sticks are a staple. If you want to try a protein dish from Khmer cuisine I highly recommend this dish. It is so earthy and flavorful. I utilize my golden herb paste in this recipe. This golden paste is comprised of (lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, garlic, ginger, turmeric, and chilis which are optional)
This dish is best served with a hot steaming bowl of rice or a side of crispy, spicy, crunchy papaya salad or a pickled slaw. Cambodians typically have this dish during gatherings, or major events. The reason being is because it is so versatile and many people are able to eat this dish while conversating and mingling. When foods are served on a stick it just makes it taste that much better.
