Tempura Shrimp Roll
This recipe is a dish that was inspired by one of my favorite dishes at dim sum, the seaweed wrapped tempura shrimp roll. It was always a dish that hit the spot for me. I am sure if you made this dish you will not be disappointed.
Ingredients
15 large shrimps
1 pack of seaweed
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 green onion
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
BATTER INGREDIENTS:
1 cup tempura flour
1 cup cold water
Instructions
Mince your shrimp, garlic and green onion. In a bowl, combine your shrimp, garlic, soy sauce, green onion, sugar, sesame oil and cornstarch.
Make your batter by mixing your tempura flour and water. Set aside. Note that the batter should be a runny consistency.
Now, lets roll! Add 3 tbsp of shrimp mix onto your seaweed. Roll straight up and seal it with some of the batter mixture at the edge. Cut the seaweed shrimp roll with scissors. Dip in tempura batter. Fry until crispy golden brown. Serve and Enjoy!
